About GearBook

GearBook is a price research tool for musicians buying and selling used gear. We aggregate sold listing data from Reverb and eBay to help you understand what gear actually sells for — not just what people are asking.

The Problem

When buying or selling used music equipment, it's hard to know what a fair price is. Asking prices vary wildly. Completed sales data is scattered across multiple platforms. And without context, it's easy to overpay as a buyer or underprice as a seller.

What We Do

GearBook searches Reverb and eBay for sold listings and presents them in one place. You can see average prices, price ranges, recent trends, and individual sales with condition and location details. Filter by platform, condition, date range, and more to find comparable sales for your specific situation.

Gear Guides

Beyond price search, we publish gear guides with specifications, videos, and buying advice for popular music equipment. Each guide links directly to our price search so you can quickly check current market values.

How We Make Money

GearBook is free to use. We earn a small commission through affiliate links when you click through to eBay or partner retailers and make a purchase. This doesn't affect the prices you see or pay — it just helps keep the site running.
