GearBook (gear-book.app) is a music gear price research tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is handled.

GearBook does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the service.

• Search queries are logged anonymously for analytics purposes (query text, timestamp, country derived from IP, referrer). This helps us understand what gear people are researching and improve the site. No personal identifiers are stored.
• Recent searches are also stored locally in your browser (localStorage) for your convenience.

GearBook retrieves pricing data from the following third-party platforms via their public APIs:

• Reverb — active listings and sold price history
• eBay — active listings (Browse API) and sold items (Finding API)
• Frankfurter — live currency exchange rates

When you click through to a listing on Reverb or eBay, you are subject to that platform's own privacy policy.

Advertising

GearBook may display advertisements from third-party advertising networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity across websites.

Affiliate Links
