Arturia PolyBrute 12

The Arturia PolyBrute 12 is a 12-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer and the successor to the original PolyBrute 6. It retains the same morphing engine and dual-filter architecture while doubling the polyphony and adding a FullTouch MPE keybed for significantly enhanced expressive control.

Sound Architecture

Each of the 12 voices features two analog VCOs with continuously variable waveforms, a sub-oscillator, and a noise generator. The dual filter section remains a standout — VCF1 is a 12dB/oct Steiner-Parker state-variable filter and VCF2 is a 24dB/oct ladder filter, running in series or parallel. The added Brute Factor feedback and distortion options give it a wide tonal range from silky pads to aggressive, overdriven leads.

FullTouch MPE Keyboard

The PolyBrute 12's biggest upgrade over the original is its FullTouch keybed. Each key tracks position, pressure, and touch throughout its full travel, enabling true polyphonic aftertouch and full MPE support. Three exclusive FullTouch performance modes are available that weren't possible on the original PolyBrute 6.

Morphing and Modulation

The signature morphing engine lets you blend seamlessly between two complete sound states (A and B) using the Morphée 3D pad, ribbon, aftertouch, or any modulation source. The expanded 12x32 modulation matrix supports up to 64 simultaneous connections, with nearly any parameter available as a destination.
