Splitting and layering patches is straightforward, and the preset browser makes navigating 4,000+ sounds manageable.

The Juno-X provides balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch stereo outputs, a stereo audio input, traditional 5-pin MIDI in/out, USB for computer integration, Bluetooth 4.2 (audio streaming and MIDI), and jacks for sustain and expression pedals. Built-in stereo speakers (4W x 2) let you play without an amp. A dedicated mic input feeds the vocoder engine. The ZEN-Core platform supports sound expansion through Roland Cloud, so new tones and model expansions can be added over time.
